i have 2 electric supplies running into building i just bought one has a meter and power supply and runs half of the house the other supply is 10 meters away on the other side of the building and has no meter and no power supply (meter was removed) but the consumer unit is there and all cables are wired and earthed can i connect the two consumer units to the one live supply if possible i know it will need 25mm 3 core swa 100a switchfuse henley block and be glanded just wanted opinons, also if possible to connect do the earths on the dead supply need redoing or will they be ok as the other half of the building was fully working not long ago (i wont be doing work myself)

the reason for asking im getting all materials ( the c/u's are both indoor and swa is surface mounted at ceiling height in conduit) also would 2 core swa and seperate 16mm earth be better than 3 core swa.

the way i have it down for what materials to get at minute is henley block from meter tail to c/u number 1 - tails to 100a switchfuse - 25mm swa to c/u number 2 all glanded all units will be within 100a supply fuse just need to know if i need more earth for c/u number 2 or will the earth from swa 3 core and already installed earth be alright because when i get quote from job dont want over charging.

there is no isolator from working meter so dno will have to pull fuse

Without seeing the installation we cannot say what the 'earths' you have mentioned are or what they are doing.

You say you don't want overcharging yet have chosen to install a 100A submain which is likely to be somewhat oversized and so not exactly cost-effective. Who carried out the calculations to establish the design current for the circuit and the cable size required?

what main bonding is installed currently? What is the earthing system?

Is there adequate RCD protection at the second CU which is to be fed by this submain?

your profile says you are a time served general electrician, but your op suggests otherwise?

You probably could run a submain to the second CU, but arguably as it would be a new install you might have to upgrade it to current regs before connecting power to it.

A far better solution would be rewire the existing circuits to all feed from one CU.  It sounds like two properties knocked into one and so probably needs some rework anyway.
