As part of a job I've got to price an extractor fan,, that's the easy part!!

the problem is that I am unable to access the outside of the wall that it's venting through!!!

Now I have seen a wall duct/grill for this situation, but I can't remember where and I'm not having much joy Googling it!

Anyone??

Stadium do some ventilation products, some of which are installable from the inside. Their website is somewhat not very good so maybe give them a bell. ;)

BM 419 UFC is the 127mm one, I'm sure they do other sizes as well, or similar stuff in other sizes.

In the past i have fitted these if there were 2 houses bulit close together so you could not get a ladder up

Silicone or gripfill around the grill

Drop a string through the hole from the inside to the outside

Tie the string to the grill, then pull up from the inside

Once its up, hold it in place for a short while and it will stick

Job done

Although in your case you may have no access at all, just a thought

Carls idea sounds like a good and viable one.

Although you cant get access because of steep bank etc. However if the where another flat above / below you could charm your way in,,,smooth talk the occupant and chuck your vent through their window,,,lol

Have you fitted one of these before Stuart??Are they really that easy??
Not fitted those exact ones before but I've fitted similar style items. As long as you core drill a tidy hole of the exact diameter that it says you should then they work as expected.

Might take a couple of goes at shoving it in and out to get the optimum position for the rubber seal, and sometimes cable ties and tape come into the equation, but in general, yes it's as easy as that.
