Relating to a meter job i recently posted about, I need 2 of these and they are pretty expensive.

situation is, is that there are 3 units, 1 with main incomer + three phase board.

Off this board it feeds 1 of the units (single phase) and the other (three phase), with their own meters, customer wants a meter to just to read what main unit is pulling. So need to take the 2 supplys off the existing board, henley block the tails into 2 Isolators and then reconnect the SWA's into them.

Just been looking and the isolators are quite expensive 150+ I don't think he'll go with it. I was thinking of 4way metal enclosure, with a 63a 3 phase mcb, and a neutral link. Unless anyone can suggest anything different? Also I can't find any neutral links, you know the MCB din type?

thanks

I'd shop around a bit more, they're not cheap but I don't think they're 150+.

Hager do some, but they should be a removable link rather than solid which I've not seen in DIN format.

surely there is already an arrangement for splitting the bills so he knows what his use is?

i.e minus the total of the other 2 meters off his meter?

its not fused patch thats where the cost starts coming in. A 4way metal clad CU is 10quid, 63A tp mcb is 25quid just need a neutral link. If you imagine a single pole mcb but with no switch just a flat front, thats what im after, sure iv seen them somewhere.

Needs to be a switch fuse Patch , thats just a switch. Sellers, I can't tell where you are based but there is a guy who sells 2nd hand switchgear like that . They are next to Spaghetti Junction in Brum though. Telephone No. is 0121 328 3343.
