I drove at 100MPH on that course once in my 150MPH Mercedes, it did'nt feel very safe !

I made the mistake of trying to push my old GS850 around the course on Mad Sunday - it's funny how you don't notice how soggy your suspension is on the daily run to work

I had a GS1000 many moons ago, I'm sure it had air pressure adjustable shocks unless I'm confusing it with something else..

not as standaard it didn't LOL. The 850 was more touring based anyway, hence the shaft drive.

Mine was the 'EN' version which was chain drive.

The shaft model was the GS1000G - more American touring biased, just been looking at the GS1000S on-line - what exotica that was it its day! Shame the frames and forks were bendy.
