Hi all,

Just got a quick question regarding adding extra sockets to an existing ring.

Im currently training at college whilst working on new build sites, so my domestic knowledge isnt great.

In my house I have 1 ring upstairs, for all the sockets in the 2 bedrooms.

I would like to add an extra socket in each bedroom.

Would it be ok to just take 2 spurs from the ring, 1 in each bedroom,

or would there be a better way to do it, with regards to the regs ?

Any advice appreciated,

Cheers.

Spurs will be fine, all above board and legal. As long as you don't spur off a spur. (unfused)

Cheers for replys.

Thought it would be ok,

just needed to confirm I was thinking along the right lines.

it'd be nice to reroute the ring to the socket if its possible but a spur is perfectly fine :)
