Apparently some security issues with Adobe Flash, so says the news over the last day or so? Anyone point me to an idiots guide to updating on Ubuntu?

there seems to be a bug that Adobe Flash does not work on Ubuntu 14. there seems to be no fix?

Luckily my Zorin OS 8 is based on Ubuntu 13.10

I'm getting to "choose an application"..................not sure what to "choose"...........or from where?
