Local radio advert by Orange

Apparently they have HD sound in some handset or other, yes High Definition, (what 96bit sampling eh!, I doubt it), what a load of tosh!

You can imagine the smart ar$e in the ad agency, "I know lets call it HD and jump on the HD band wagon", I guess Joe Public must be stupid!!!

thats nice of them.

now maybe if they could fix the problem of crap signal and existing 'low definition' sound, then that would be great, and i would be tempted to re-new contract in a few month.

Just FYI...

you do know that Orange and T-mobile have now merged their networks.. if you register on their website it will allow you to roam on the other network when you have no signal... only 2g at the moment. Should be 3g roaming next year from what I've heard.

Thanks for that!

I'm in a frustrating predicament - to open my account fully I need a code from my paper bill, but I don't get a paper bill..............

thats big of them,

they were both carp to start with so now you have two carp coverage networks to "roam" with.

I love that, although they are now the same you get the option of roaming within your own network,

neat PR that......

Only 02 and vodafone work well in my area so it won't affect me. You can get signal with the others but you keep losing it especially indoors. I keep telling my missus to change from orange as the signal is poor and come over to 02 I say we can then talk for free but she says I never want to talk to her when i'm working which is very true.

Does this imply that you "talk to her" when you are not working......how strange !! ROTFWL

I'm with Orange and I find thier signal much better than Vodafone (here anyway)

I phoned up and checked the roaming was free (yes I am really Scottish) before I signed up.

They will automatically merge both networks late next year (2G and 3G) but are doing a softly softly approach to prevent problems.

The roaming thing is quite good- I notice it when coming down the motorway - there is 1 bit that cut me off, but 100 yards later all was well.

The problem is now gone and calls work all the way

You register (I didn't need my bill as they sent a text to my phone I replied to) Click HERE

Hope this helps
