as for you leaving for 4 months and not getting anything,

I dont see why, there must be more to it than just 4 months of non payment.

well, Ive just got back to England 4 years ago, I was away working,

and do you know what, if I didnt have a job here Id be away working again,

never lay blame at the state you are in, blame yourself for being in that state!

cash in hand while on benefits is WRONG, I completely agree. I am not on benefits and am struggling to find work as I am a 'shake n bake' ie qualifications but very little experience so I would probably accept that job purely for the sake of my CV. The benefits office look at the last 2years payments, and I was missing 4 months ,

unfortunately the previous 11yrs dont count.
