"Working from home" is another good one

I know a lot of people who do......I also know a lot more who have it as a day off!

My "working from home" involves doing paperwork at night, having worked all day

IIRC the insurance was only to allow non compliant work to be corrected if the original contractor is unable to do so... I.e. no longer trading

It does not cover warranty repairs

A few years ago my biggest customer used to have a management meeting at 9 every monday morning, this used to go on nearly all morning, biccies and coffee supplied

I suggested to the MD ( who I had known for years since he was on the shop floor) that they move the meeting to 1530 on a friday afternoon.

He said they would give it a try

They had finished by 1630...... From then on all the meetings were moved to this time

I received a case of wine for my constructive input

The worst ones I remember were meetings scheduled for 2PM

Just after lunch.  Was BLOODY hard staying awake.  Surely they must teach that on management courses?
