Client already has 1 x 8.5kW shower and wants another 7:O

They do have 3 phase, but that's taking the P

I worked out the max demand for the site and it was something like 148A, 148A and 198A,,,, that's the best that I can get it what with all the other bits and pieces :red card headbang :red card headbang

That must be a hotel or b&b

Suggest they get a VERY large (more likely several very large) hot water cylinders and thermostatic mixer showers.

We do have two 8.5KW showers here and no problem with both of them running together on a normal single phase domestic supply, so you ought to be okay with a total of 6 showers, 2 per phase.

There might be an argument if it's a b&b, and 6 of the showers were in guest rooms, and the other two were in the owners accommodation, that it would be okay, providing the owners only used their showers when they KNEW the guests were out.

Yes, it's a 6 room B&B with an additional bathroom, a self catering challet (electric shower) and 3 x mobile homes:O

TBH I'm going to tell the plumber that they have to a) have gas cooking (at least hob) and B) sort out some other arrangements for at least some of the showers
