got a minor problem...

i have a folder on my nas. i was messing with the settings (as you do...) in the 'advanced sharing'. Anyway, i now seem to have set everyone, including myself, to 'no access', so i cant get it at all.

any idea how to un-do it? since i dont have access, i cant get to the 'advance sharing' settings any more...

it used to be there in 'file station', but its not there any more

found it in control panel > shared folders, but i still cant get it to show in 'file station'. and since its not in 'file station', i cant get to it though mapped network drive from my PC, and its not on the list of files in filezilla either

got it working, found the advanced sharing... i had set 'users' to no access...

panic over, normal service has resumed

got it working canoe -  it was only 1 folder i could get it. i could get it from my account, but not admin account, so whilst messing with it, i ended up with no-one able to get it...

Is this akin to the DIYer playing with electricity and it going wrong!!!!

Now what was the advise that you always offer??????????????

Call a suitably qualified person.
