Hi,

I'm looking for a vandal resistant PIR, 240v to switch a light. With a detection range upto 10m.

I found this online, but can't find any suppliers. There must be others out there....

It has to be fairly good value. Normally I would install Axis systems, but these are too expensive for the customer.

Anyone recommend a good supplier that will have a suitable PIR?

Thanks

For anyone looking for such an item Eneo (Germany) sell a wall mounted or corner mounted housing which you put your own board camera into.

I have one fitted in my portico outside my front door. I used a monochrome camera due to the poor light under the portico. It has suffered one attack and survived relatively unscathed. A coat of paint and a new Lexan viewing window and it looks as good as new again.

see that attachment to view my oneView attachment 3032 View attachment 3033 and the last picture is the image taken when a PSU failed hense the horizontal lines. The lines are gone now.http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4113/5439462529_fd304063f1.jpg There is no reason you can't put a PIR inside instead

Yeah I know it's an old thread but I always look for answers in old threads before asking Wet Fish

Although a wire basket is my first reaction too.
