Got to go and look at a job which is installing one of these,,

I've managed to get the installation instructions and it seem that it's only 2.9kW ("connected by way of isolator and fused down to 13A")

Just wondering if anyone has installed one of these before and if they have any tips or if there's anything I should look out for?

EDIT - link

sheet. is it called easy dry cus it can't heat the water up fast enough so you jump in and then jump straight back out again its that cold?

:^O

My girlfriend has a 2000W+ hairdryer and it takes ages to dry her hair. How long would she be in the shower if she had to dry everything?

Now I've done a site survey and this body dryer isn't suitable due to the fact that the ceiling is sloping and just above the cubicle at the corner,, so...

does anyone know of any other brand of body dryer that's available? I know that Triton used to do one but they have stopped manufacturing it.

Anyone??????

They are generally for people with limited mobility guys.Rich people have servants to dry them;)
maybe you could rent out jeeves noz? :^O

Right,

I just fited one of these today here's some photos...

this is the mounting bracket going in... only 3 holes required.. that hole on the soil stack was there before I started - they had drilled and installed a draw for me to use,,, but it was in the wrong place ROTFWL

this one is of the heater/blower after it's been fitted, it just hangs on 2 lugs on the bracket, the thin clear pipe is for the pneumatic foot switch

and here it is finally fitted, I drilled another hole in the soil stack and took the power cable through the loft to a fused spur

You shattered my illusions. It was far more fun imagining a pert 18 year old bikini model dry herself off having got back from the beach rather than Mavis's bat wings flapping slowly dry. Ugh

:C

TBH I was quite impressed with the way it looks once fitted,,, even without the nubile blonde;)I just don't know how effective it'll be
I always found nubile blondes to be most effective!

Hope its better than the hand dryers; wash your hands, hands under dryer for 3 weeks then wipe hands on tee shirt!

So it could be; wash 'body, bits, hair etc', stand under dryer for 3 weeks then wipe yourself on the curtains??............... :coat
