Good, better, best. It's on old manufacturing industry maxim. Supermarkets use it where they'll have an entry level product (baseline), mid-level item (own brand) & a branded version e.g. Heinz.Pretty much always been my philosophy on that sort of stuff. I like Hi-Fi and AV, but have never fell for all the snake oil nonsense. I have seen plenty of cheap cables fall to pieces though. A mate of mine just had a problem with a couple of 6M HDMI leads that were about a tenner each IIRC, they basically just fell to pieces. Basically, don;t buy the ridiculously expensive flashy one, don;t buy the cheapest either, get the one that's a bit better than the cheaper one. Same applies to all interconnects.
what like morrisons value baked beans, morrisons baked beans and heinz baked beans, basically they are all f rt fodder :^OGood, better, best. It's on old manufacturing industry maxim. The concentration of free electrons in gold metal is 5.90
iirc, its true. gold is used because its the most inert metalBenji, infact gold is a worse comductor of electricity than copper
Are you sure of that ??
silver is more conductive than copper. then copper, then othersI believe you, lol!! I always considered gold/platinum/silver as being more conductive, just too dammed expensive to be used as everyday cable conductors....
