Hi everyone.

I just needed a bit of advice if I was doing the right thing.

Bathroom extractor fan - I have run of the lighting in the bathroom with an isolation switch outside the bathroom. I heard something about if there is a window in the bathroom there was no need for an Isolation switch, but I thought I should still have it for safety.

Shaver outlet - Am I right in thinking it will also run of the lighting as it is low voltage with transformer.

under-floor heating mat - run from the ring to a fused spur and then to the thermostat.

Isolation  switch and windows have no connection with each other whatsoever  Jas0n .

All bathroom electrics through an Arceydee.

Yes , shaver fed from lighting , must be isolation tranny.

I think the guidance that you are confusing is the general rule that where there is an opening window then the need for a run on timer can be omitted. Rooms without windows should maintain the fan for 15 minutes after use. Most manufactures state that fans should have a reasonably positioned local isolator. But a lot of your questions can be answered by reading the manufactures instructions for the accessories you are installing.
