Right I have a dilema...

Would you or would you not bubble to DWP a neighbour who is claiming  benefits, even though her hubby (who for no other reason other than she is servicing a younger fella, she want to divorce) is still living under the same roof & is paying the bills as normal, even though she has informed DWP they are seperated & have been for some months.

I get the impression he has no idea she has sorted the benefit claims, I feel sorry for the guy the whole seperation thing she kicked off tail end of Nov, he has given up now & said she can stop in the house he will rent else where but will not move out until all the legal stuff is sorted.

The cheeky mare came round today and proudly announced to Mrs107  "i cant belive how easy it is  £300 pw & they are back dating the payments, I've saved the first two months payments so I have a couple of months mortgage payment for when hubby does go"

So thats £300+ per week hand out on top of the job she does part time , free kids school meals, vouchers for the kids uniforms, free school club entry for the kids, subsidised school trips for the kids.

Why the **** do we bother working.

Yes I'm bitter & twisted.....why? because I went out at 19:00 to do a quote as she was leaving next door in her BMW on her way to the new gym she had joined today.

I would too.

I'm supportive of a welfare state, in principal, but not the expensive system we have so open to abuse.

We are the taxpayers, it is us funding these people.

I would too.

I have seen first hand how difficult they make it for genuinely disabled people, but girls with kids they just hand over the dosh.

On the subject of "cohabiting" At one time, if you reported a girl for this, they would watch them, and if they had someone staying there for more than a few nights a week, they would stop their money. Now though, [My sister is a jobcentre manager] apparently they can do nothing, "because the human rights act entitles these people to have a private life" so instead, to be able to stop their money, they have to check bank accounts for evidence of someone else paying bills on their behalf.

I would report her without thinking twice. Might teach her a bit more respect for her poor husband too.

Do not get too excited though, as the jobcentre fraud people have more or less given up. My sisters boyfriend is actually a fraud investigator for them. I am talking SERIOUS fraud, people with fake passports and multiple identities. Apparently, they can be watching someone for WEEKS, and they have all the evidence they need, and then, just as they are about to move in, they will be told to abandon the case due to lack of money to pursue it...

I would

You can do it online

All anonymously

But make sure you have lots of facts not hearsay

The easier you make DWP life I.e. they only need to actually turn up at the house to serve papers, the more likely they will do anything at all because they don't have enough staff, an easy result ticks all the boxes

Allegedly :)

Get them dobbed in  NOW.

It is hard enough for us to find the work, take the risks, earn the money, hopefully get paid the money, pay our suppliers, pay our bills, pay our mortgage, feed our kids and feed ourselves     AND sleep at night.!

Why should we pay her to do nowt??..........................discuss  [10 points] :red card :red card :red card :red card

Hi Ray,

I know what you are saying, but the thing is, wait till you see disabled people, whose ONLY time they leave the house, is to go to a day centre, but then this is cancelled "due to lack of funds" Or people whose support workers, that they desperately need, are simply withdrawn, leaving them to just struggle on as best they can, or even Remploy, a firm SPECIALLY SET UP so that disabled people CAN actually have a job, is closed down, again due to lack of funds.

What about people who through no fault of their own have a mental illness, [and yep, this will affect 1 in 3 of us at some time]and then you find that all the hospitals have been closed. Do you think that it is right, that just in the area where i live, they have gone from several thousand hospital beds to about 35, yep 35, and that each year, nearly 1000 very ill people are kept locked in police cells purely because there is literally no room in the hospital for them..

Despite this, some slapper thinks it is ok to claim that she is single, so that she has £300 a month to spend on fags, drinking and laughing at others, that DO contribute to society..

Suppose the worst came to the worst, and you lost your job... Think the social will pay your mortgage?? dream on.... They will not pay for three months anyway.

No, one day, YOU might need medical care or assistance, who knows, you might develop dementia, anything, who knows what the future holds, but how will you feel then, when you are denied the help you need, while some slapper up the road is driving round in a new car, has a free house, and spends all day in bed while her kids are out abusing school teachers, and the only thing she has to worry about is which bloke she is going to stuff next [literally and metaphorically]

Has anyone else noticed how they girls that have several kids, all have them at 5 year intervals???? Yes, they do this deliberately, because as soon as the one is in school, the jobcentre will find them a job, so they turn out a second one, [and so on]

Spill the beans !!!   We're paying ...why should we .

We know someone  who works for  Post Office Counters  in a mostly Asian area .   Benefits are paid over the counter , then a money order is requested and half of it is then posted to their country of origin .     If thats the case they don't bloody well need it  but the staff are not allowed to speak out or comment on anything they see.

This government announced before Christmas that they thought it may be possible that maybe..just maybe .... we may have allowed too much immigration !!!!

Every working bloke in the country could have toldd 'em that 40 years ago  FFS!!!

And if you don't wanna "grass" then have a little chat/conversation and let it slip with some "old dears" near you who will do the job on your behalf lol. :)

personally I wouldn't get involved, it will probably come back to bite you!!

Well I need not worry..................... Chatting to another person along the road, somebody else has already been on line & done it.

Could now do it simple as i am registered as disabled due to hip replacement gone wrong but I still work without help from the social.

Just would not do it as these things come back and bite you.

For apprentice 87

A lot of the folk that can't go to day centres due lack of funding is wrong as it was the government that set up care in the community and took day to day care and closed hospitals to put them in the community with no back up.

The hospital situation is also re government shutting hospital wards which is the case in every town not just yours.

Start saving money with border control as in my area it's the folks from other European countries coming over here and getting every benefits going for them, greedy government ministers on very huge wages for sitting in an office and bleeding this country dry.

I am am not saying that stealing is right and never done it myself but its not all down to dss fraud look at the bigger picture

All I am saying that I would never grass and that is my personal opinion end off....

I think apache hit it on the head.

How serious a crime does it have to be before its recognised as such?

Look at house burglary, it's almost become acceptable by the police.

How many forum members have had their vans turned over and complained about it only to find the police, insurance company's and joe public couldn't care less, the police because there little hope of catching them so why waste time on it, the insurance will squirm out of it at the glimmer of a technicality and joe public is not bothered so long as he has a new shiny hilti for £20

How many forum members complain about being undercut by Mr. cash in hand ?

Is it not the same???
