bill breakers

can anybody tell me if Bill Talisman Plus breakers will fit in an older Bill Talisman board. Gratefull for any help, Thanks

No they won't Redskin and the older Talisman can be difficult to get.

We had to have a 50A TP Type C made at Eaton (MEM) @

I remember doing a job a few years back where the boss supplied a BILL board and totally different breakers,

I had to file a smidgen off every finger to get the other breakers to fit!

talk about time consuming, IIRC it was a 24way 3p board!

kinda fits in with the 'only our breakers' thread!!!

I had forgot about that job til this appeared.

Bill Switchgear modernised the design of their Talisman range, then sold out to MEM who sold out to Eaton , the original Bill is totally different.

Just a point of interest which has nothing to do with the thread whatsoever.

The boss of the old Bill Switchgear works, Ron Bill , used to drive around in a 1930s Bentley 4.5 litre supercharged open topped tourer.

I had to scour everywhere to get old breakers for Bill boards, a nightmare

Its a case of " To change or not to change ,that is the question" To track down the odd breaker is one thing but after that its replace the board.
