Our club are getting broadband... I think its BT business as we don't have a line in and we want a fixed IP address for CCTV access... Whilst we aren't going to have open WIFI access we are going to have the key available to members

So when we get this we want to restrict access to certain types of website... porn, file sharing, torrents, TV on demand etc to keep our bandwidth down.

So... Is there a list of websites/terms that is available o help us do this?

I think we'll end up just using the BT supplied hub,, its a battle just getting the broadband in TBH

How are we responsible for what people connect to Steps??

its your IP Noz, so you will be held liable for illegal activity,

ie, streaming copyright content etc,

unless you can prove you took all reasonable measures to stop it,

thats why you 'may' be required to keep a log of connection activity

if someone D/Ls movies etc on your IP its you will get the blame unless you can point the finger.
