Hi I have a Vokera compact 24 mtn boiler in my new flat with no user instructions, not sure what setting my boiler should be on or what some of the dials actually mean. I've only found installation and servicing instructions online which I can't understand. One dial has a sun at one end and snowflake at the other, as there are two other dials one for hot water and one for heating, I'm not sure what this dial does..    Any knowledge on how to use and what the best setting to have it on would be much appreciated.

Hi naomi and welcome to the forum. I have deleted the other two posts on the same subject as it gets messy when multiple questions on the same topic appear.

I am not an expert but as I understand it the dial with the sun, and the snowflake reflect the seasons of summer and winter. I would presume the settings towards the snowflake would protect against frosts, in that if the boiler is off and the temperature drops below 5 then it would kick in to prevent any freezing.

I am sure people will come on line and give a better answer.

So if my memory serves me correctly, the sun and snowflake represent summer and winter modes, (water only and (water and heating) )

the other two dials are for boiler temperatures for heating and water.
