GH - the bonding in question is for the main water. Should I insist they get cupboards removed or cut an access hole then?You are correct and those main bondings always have to be available for inspection and testing.My answer above was for supplementary bonding which continuity could be checked by testing and if soldered does not need to be available for inspection or testing. It is more cosmetic for bathrooms in that the horrible green and yellow cable does not need to be on show.
Ok, I'll speak to them. Forgive my ignorance, but what's a "Fein"? :|Even for a minor change you need to confirm water (and gas etc...) is bonded correctly to 17th and I am not sure you can confirm that at this time so I guess you may need to.Have you got a Fein or similar as you should be able to cut out a neat hole and put the bit back in after without too much drama.
