Can anyone recommend any good cable cutters to cut swa and tails i have the normal snips but just want good cutters to snip the bigger stuff

The best that i've come across are BICC own brand, but there Expensive. But i would think that Any of the well known branded cable cutters will fill your needs....

Try the BAHCO 2233D range - good for 25mm tails but I'd stick to a hacksaw for SWA and certainly not one of those silly SWA cutters

My CK cable cutters bite straight through SWA (usually needs 2 or 3 cuts because of the CSA)

Only ever use a hacksaw on swa though

I use the same and can confirm they will easily cut through swa never use them on hardened steel though, it will damage the cutting edge.
