Whats the difference between CT100 and RG59U ?

I think most RG cables are rated 50 ohms ,

Im pretty sure 59 is anyway as IIRC I used to use it for CB and HAM.

No, both are 75 ohm

I believe CT-100 has a larger diameter centre core & more braides.

RG59U is used mainly in analogue transmission & CCTV installations

Isn't RG59 smaller diameter and used for cctv stuff?

The cheaper version of CT100 is RG6

yea +1 cant fit a bnc end onto CT-100

i always though the CT-100 had less Interference than normal coax

i was told by my sky installer that they all use RG59 now
