Camping lighting project

I am looking at a mobile lighting system, powered by PV panels and was wondering if anyone can point me to a good guide for calculating size of panels/ storage batteries etc. ?:|

Just do it in stages. Work out what lamps you're using, then take the Ah from that and size the batteries accordingly, then size the PV panels to suit, i.e. make sure the PV panels will output enough power to power the lights and charge a flat battery.
