Does anyone know where i can take a decent value for money cctv installation course in or around Leeds West Yorkshire?

I did a course with http://www.systemq.com/

Heavy on the theory, very little practical and brain was leaking out of my ears by the end of day 2. Like all these things theory only goes so far. After the course bought a system and installed it in my house which helped get a better understanding also.

Yeah I think reading, buying and fitting is the way to go.

Most important thing is knowing what's available and what it can do.

SystemQ are very helpful and will offer advise over phone, just give them your requirements and they will give you options that will work.

Yes System Q are great i did the two day course a couple of years ago the courses were good and full of info but did asume that you knew how to terminate ect already. Cost me

wouldent bother unless your doing large scale IP jobbys. ive just learned as ive gone along, im into photography so i knew what specs to look out for but you can just google that any way. recently done a local small industrial estate/ group of units. good moneys!
