Hi all new help needed, I have had problems with central heating, first plumber stated new pump required he fitted this and heat returned, next day heating failed he said 3 way valve fault, did something to get it going next day failed again, no reply to calls.

got new plumber heating engineer he fitted complete new 3 way system after failing to work properly he suggested blocked pipes and poss new boiler he then set the valve to manual only and hey presto it worked, only problem it does not cut out on thermostat he says to control it by turning on/off by timer.

any help please, please,please.

As the valve works manually I doubt it's a plumbing fault.

Get an electrician (not a plumber) who understands heating controls to have a look.

EDIT: Andy beat me to it.

Thank you for brightening an otherwise dull, and dreary day

As everyone else says.....get an Electrician in ( a proper one, not a zero to hero)

My mate is a plumber/gas fitter. Swapped a boiler yesterday. Brown blue and earth to old boiler. Reconnected to new boiler. Nowt worked. Did he prat about with it?.....no, he checked terminals for tightness then rang me.

I do not do gas or plumbing.....in return he does not do Electrickery

Just saying
