Looking at the cost of a children's entertainer for my little girls birthday in June.

£150-230  for 2 hours !!!!!!!!!!  + venue hire and food.

I dont think i charge enough for been an electrician. We have to train longer and spend a little more money then a children's entertainer does to be competent.

A clowns outfit , bendy balloons, lame stereo and cheap party prizes cant cost more then the new hammer drill i just bought.

We had "Bubbles the Clown" for my daughter's 7th birthday party.

£150 for 2 hours, plus he had almost an hour each way / 100 mile round trip to get here.

So travel at 44p per mile = £44, 4 hours away from home = £26.50 per hour.

Obviously everything is dearer darn sarf   :put the kettle on

So the answer is to employ a clown from a long way away to make the charge easier to swallow!
