Everyone: Of course, why the hell not? Consumer units do not spontaneously burst into flames, mounting on combustible materials is totes fine.

that estate is not that old... so it wont have decent wylex 3036 board with proper terminals that dont come loose, but too old for a metal CU, so im surprised it hasnt burnt down already
