City & Guilds Course changes

Interesting to see that alot of the current courses are being discontinued with the last registration being 1st of April this year.

I've posted this elsewhere but I've been told that the short courses (2382, 2391, 2392, 2393 etc) will carry on until December, registration should be extended (C&G website doesn't show this yet) but funding does end on 31/03/11 so these courses will be full-cost only (which they usually are anyway).

There will. All qualifications are being reformatted to fit the new QCF system. No proper details are available yet but the C&G say they will be by the end of the year...

so what will happen for people like myself.

By the time this happens I'll have Level 3 2330, but no NVQ3

if the NVQ doesn't exist what do I do next?

If you can enroll on the 2356 now Ash you'll have a couple of years to complete it, otherwise you should be able to do the site based units (NVQ units) of the 2357 when it begins.
