hi everyone

been to look at a job today house is being upgraded and they want a new fuseboard, only problem is the current board is tight against the ceiling and there dropping the ceiling 8" to hide rsj thats boxed in, now i know i could crimp heat shrink each circuit and put all in an enclosure but i'm sure i've seen din rail connectors that are push fit like wagos? anybody know if there is such a thing and where i can get them from? :|

If you crimp / heatshrink to extend then you do not need to put these joints in any enclosure. Which is what you want isn't it? If the ceiling is coming down 8 inch then the joints won't be accessible afterwards, surely?

if its joined by crimp or push fit, it wont need to be accessible. just if you have lots to crimp & extend, rather than heatshrink each one, it would be easier to keep them in an enclosure
