Looking for some advice I'm having trouble getting a contactor to kick in thanks

Perhaps an insight to how you've connected it in circuit might help? We are not mediums, at least no one has revealed themselves to be yet?!

Although there are rumours that deke is old enough to be the ghost, the reincarnated and the medium.

Is the voltage at the contactor coil?

If yes - probably coil burnt out.

If no  - control or supply problem.

As said more details required.

Too many variables

I can think of about 20 without concentrating

What is it on

What is coil voltage

What are the controls

Is coil, oc or nc

What is voltage at coil

Emergency stops kicked in

Stop cct oc

Etc etc etc

I  asked my Red Indian Spirit Guide but him say not enough information, Kema Sabe  but probably something to do with coil .   Then he wenyt off on a tangent about being on the shores of Gitchy Goomy by the shining big sea water and the white men coming with their barking sticks of thunder.

If it's a new install then you've possibly got some terminations wrong or somethings faulty..

If it's an existing install that's suddenly stopped working then somethings bust..

Without more info/photos of the job then that's probably as good an answer as you're going to get

Roccofisher ,   give us a bit more info , a pic is always helpful .

As Noz says , is it something you have fitted or is it an existing jobby?

Is it controlling some off peak heating by any chance ?

Is it controlled by a time switch ,a light sensor, a stat , ?

Ive seen that a load of times,

as an apprentice I also wondered why all the 'bulbs' I changed on the 240 festoon blew straight away  :Blushing    :innocent
