Crabtree Polestar RCBO alternative

Anybody got any ideas for an RCBO that will fit a Crabtree Polestar CU?

All I seem to be able to get hold of is Starbreaker which don't fit.

I don't usually use Crabtree so I'm a bit in the dark so to speak!

I know you shouldn't mix makes but it seems I have no alternative as customer won't pay to replace CU!

if its that one then NOTHING else will fit.

I thought Polestar were commercial boards !

Crabtree make RCBOs in the Polestar range so a 32A is a 602C/323 which is a type C DP ( cost a fortune I'd guess)

Stepps , Starbreaker is the plug-in one which nothing else fits .

If you fit another make it will be a million times safer !!!!

well then polestar is a fairly standard size I'd say, but I would have said that the starbreaker were harder to get than anything else.

not used the polestar before, but they look identical to Wylex

Probably are the same Andy .

Starbreaker should be available ...a Starbreaker RCBO 32A would be a 61/C13230 Don't Megger it or Loop test it .

starbreaker wont fit a polestar

although a loadstar may fit

and they probably are the same, just a different name on them

wylex deffo fits at least one type of craptree,

Ive seen them interchanged on both types of board, ie, wylex in craptree, and craptree in wylex.

Guys, many thanks for your help. I'd hoped a Wylex would fit as they do look very similar (probably made in the same factory).

I'll give it a go and post the results for future.
