Erm, yes. all CU's have a busbar, otherwise there'd be nothing to link the MCB's to.

On a Crabtree board the Busbar is a plugin variety that sits behind the MCB's, similar to the Square D type. If you get a look at an MCB you'll see where the busbar goes.

 
Must have been a Starbreaker, they are the safest to work on .

But of course you would always switch it off before even looking at it , would you not ?

So it doesn't matter how safe they are does it . H & S ... H & S ...

shrouded busbars are not always safe to work on! ive managed to get an earth into the live part, and blow it clean apart where it was touching metal case!
