I had some dewalt trousers chucked them away as the knee pad area had worn away to quickly maybe i was working to hard :)

i have four pairs of dewalt trousers, best work trousers i have ever had no need for a tool belt and they look smarter than any other i have seen. BUT as has been said knees wear out much quicker than the Dickies trousers. Luckily my nan is a dab hand with a sowing machine and has taken it upon herself to repair them then i go through the knees.

Expensive but good, i have seen some Dickies that look similar to the dewalt so may try them next. You got them at a very good price matty.

Have a pair and hate them. They are too uncomfortable. Look at snickers instead.

I only have Snickers work trousers, but that's because only Snickers do ones that are long enough. They've had some abuse and this pair have lasted maybe 12 Months without showing much sign of wear. Only problem is with the 400 pockets I tend to fill them all with tools so they get a bit heavy!

I did have some Scruffs ones cos they were on offer but they were too small really and didn;t last 5 minutes anyway.

Funny, I woke up in the night and there were a pair of those trousers walking round the room. I explained to the missus - "they were the trousers I could have bought if only I had gone to confused.com"

I knew what was coming as soon I starting reading the post from you, James.

Agree with Macd , the dewalt strides are really uncomfortable well worth paying the extra for Snickers best pair work keks I've had.

i'm just trying out the mascot work pants....

they seem very good indeed

Having tried most varieties, the ONLY strides I buy now are Snickers. They seem the toughest and by far the most comfy. Trouble is, some don't wear as well as others in the range. Canvas seem to be the toughest. Look the biz too IMO. Get what you pay for in this world.

i tried Black Rock i liked them alot pockets in the right places and shape plus the side pockets you put your clips and screws etc zip off

lasted long time too

i had a pair of dewalt work trousers. never ever again would i waste the money on them. didnt last very long and the pockets are too small. snickers are the best bar none. get 2 years out of a pair.
