I have recently purchased and received a Victron energy 5kw inverter (multiplus 2 gx) and 2x Pylontech US5000 batteries (4.8kwh each). I do not have any solar or other generation equipment. Does this installation require DNO notification / approval?
I will just be charging with octopus go overnight and using for self consumption in the day. That's it. I'm happy configuring everything and would like to just get an electrician to hook it up to the consumer unit but finding it hard to get an answer on whether anything else is required.
