a quick one for you

it was noticed today that one of the dogs has somehow lost one of its claws on one of its paws, the black bit is gone and just a small white slightly bloody bit is left, had loads of dogs and this is the first time one of them has managed this! what can be done?

Nothing!

It's ripped off a nail. Will be fine! Sometimes the nail can grow back a bit 'funny' (grow with a twist, in a strange direction etc)

It's worse when they partially rip it an the nail is hanging and it gets caught - must be painful for the poor dogs. We see this very commonly.
