E10 petrol

I must confess I only heard about this about a week ago

Any thoughts?

I have a diesel van and the misses and son both have 5 year old petrol cars so they should be OK

I wonder if the ‘premium’ e5 fuel will become cheaper otherwise it penalises the less well off? 
fortunately my wife has a quality vehicle albeit older as she doesn’t want to change it which will accept the new fuel without issue.  
my vans a diesel so another year or two and that’ll be banned!!

this is not very new, the reason supernarket petrol is cheap is becuase it's watered down with alcohol. Happened in WW2 as well.

My car will be alright with the E10 apparently, but I will buy the premium E5 for my chainsaw, I already put a fuel stabiliser in it.
