Earlex (Wickes) Vacuum Cleaner

Possibly something that many know already but.........if any one had one of the old grey wet n dry vacs from Wickes then the Earlex WD1000 is pretty much the same model. I had trouble getting spares from Wickes and ended up buying some RUBBISH filters off of eBAY - really useless! Anyway I found that TLC do the Earlex range. ONE TIP THOUGH: The "Combined Wet and Dry Filter" doesn't push all the way onto the Wickes cleaner so you need to drill about a 10mm hole in the plastic of the Wickes one for the filter's retaining clip to go through. Once done it's perfect.

Wished I'd done this mod before I used the wall chaser!
