PC has a point, but if you go to the Argos site you can order gift vouchers, pay face value and have them delivered to yourself or the recipient FOC.

Didn't realise that, but the principle still holds true for many other items. I've sold loads of things for more than I thought they were worth and can only assume it's because some people find it easier / cheaper to get stuff delivered rather than go out and 'shop' for it.

There are some who are just addicted to it though!

Yes, I have acquired loads of things FOC and sold them on eBay for more than nothing.

What I have done quite a few times is sell things for more than the Buy It Now I put on the item in the first place.
