contactor rated to suit. control with timer and stat in the arrangement she wants

Generally agas stay on all the time I thought.
Was my understanding too. I would fear that if you turned it off then more electricity would be used when you turned it on to heat the general mass of the thing.

Is it a proper electric aga or a glass hob disguised as an Aga?

take into account the above.

i bet they don't have A for energy rating :^O

hello chaps, customer wants a timer put on her electric aga and a theromstat.

any advice? i have not done one before.

many thanks

paul
I would get more info from customer and from AGA as they are normally left on all the time as they take so long to heat up.

Also some AGAs are designed to be used for heating the domestic hot water system.
