Does anyone have experience of electric radiators

ie

http://www.electrorad.co.uk/

I've a client that has read some article on them.

He now wants these style radiators as opposed to storage heaters in a flat we're renovating.

Help appreciated

Cheers

Jim

I fitted a load of heaters similar to these, replacing oil central heating.

The customer swears by them and reckons they are cheaper to run than oil CH, but I'm sceptical.

The one thing I would say if you fit this type of heating is convert to Economy 10 tarrif. That gives you some early evening and daytime electricity at the cheaper rate.

Not all areas of the country support it though so check, I think only EDF and E-ON do it these day's and it requires a meter change.

SSE (Scottish & Southern) both definitely do E10, as I say I installed the rads and new CU and they came and changed the meter over to E10.

Well I got the quote back from electrorad and they want over
