Well, what a fine time I had!

Actually it was quite good, seriously...NO really!

Had a chat with Havells in their converted burger van!

Bought some stuff, Wagos etc, some bits from super rod AND......

I AM THE FIRST PERSON IN THE FRICKING WORLD TO BUY THESE FROM RAY AND PAULA AT WAGOBOX

It is the NEW IP68 enclosure ( subject to you having a suitable gland!!!)

Just use a suitable gland

Lid is sealed with 2 O rings

Submersible up to 4m

Optional earthing gland plates

Cable entry via lid or sides or both

Optional wall bracket available

Can be directly buried

Clear body available if required

Looks perfect for garden lights

Gland plates have a 1/4" tab for a spade terminal if needed

I got a black and a grey version, wall brackets, gland plates etc

My idea is to use them for extending multi pair phone cables on refurbs.....plenty of space to leave some slack ,when they have been jelly crimped, for future reworking. Similar to the system used by Openreach on the poles.

Complete thing is just a bit bigger than a wall mounted photocell

I may not even use them as they are like a first Edition.......in years to come I can see that lisping gap toothed false-accented trilby-wearing sycophantic old-pot worrier Tim What-a-c?!t on. Bargain hunt getting all moist over them......they will be a worthwhile legacy for my children. They probably will not appreciate them

Indeed it was strawberry jam the only Jam my local shop sells.

I was thinking of a similar design for some 12v garden lighting using headlight bulbs.

I'd only give it an ip44 rating as the lid didn't like the hole saw much and nearly caught fire but I was quite pleased with the result be it a bit of a pikey mod.

I would just like to confirm on behalf of Wagobox that Kerching is the first person in the World to purchase a Wagobox-Capsule so a big congratulations and thank you to him from us both.

For those electricians wishing to keep jam in their capsules, I must inform you that although this shouldn't be a problem we haven't had it tested to the jam standard!
