Im NOT irish,   :D

can I help myself to the hotel goodies?

Mrs Deke says I can take what I want,,,,,,,,,,,,

Not Irish !!   In that case you're most welcome .........yes help yourself ...(been trying to get rid of that lot for years)

There are Evans Electric towels , next to the bibtap outside....theres a couple of cans of past their sell by date Guinness in the mini-bar and a rusty Bumper can of  M&B  Mild ......(Not exactly KME's fridge.

Brian :C will be your Room Service attache   ( Please try not to tread on him)

A full English breakfast will be served...........................( at the hotel just up the road on the A34  :innocent   )

no such thing as BB dates on beer, thats a con by both the breweries and the excise man, FACT,

as beer matures in the can/bottle it also matures in strength, the stronger it gets the more excise the taxman wants,

this is actually true, contrary to a lot of the stuff I spout

but,

I could be proven wrong,

watch this space,,,,,,,,,,

As you know, we work very closely with one of the breweries in the area - ( reminds me - paddler / anyone. Minikegs??) -

It depends on how the beer is stored / presented, as to the life expectancy - but there IS a "best before" date

I just found this topic and wanted to say - I'll be at Cov too! Thurs for sure and maybe Friday morn.

Maybe our badges should have forum names as well as real?

See you in the Ricoh...

I shall be accompanied by The Shield Bearer  who walks in front of me carrying the FSOY shield  aloft   and sounding a trumpet .

I  may be driven round in the Forumobile,   like the Popemobile but no bullet proof glass .     It stops occasionally so I can dismount & circulate among the lesser mortals.

And three of the horsemen will still be in attendance at the forum.........................the fourth is representing at Elex ( better hurry if you want your bacon roll - the bread may all go) :slap
