Empire Direct was a privately owned independant electrical retailer. It has, or had, no connection to Empire Stores.

Correct empire direct had nothing to do with empire stores, empire stores is still trading, empire direct was more on line but did have 14 stores,nearly 2000 orders which have been paid for wont be delivered and only way can get money is if paid by credit card and if your bank pays up,(not much chance there then).company went bust owing over 10 million so just few pennies then lol,we done work for them and are owed over 7thousand pounds got as much chance getting that as fairy dust powering my van next week..but we keep on smilin as after empire, mfi ,servis uk and gbdar lost total of just over 32thousand so now need change of career before i go insane...
