An Englishman is trying to explain to an American Welshman woman how a thermos flask works.

After several attempts, he gives up and says, "Well basically, it keeps drinks cold in the summer and warm in the winter."

The American Welshman woman says, "That's great, but how does it know when it's summer and when it's winter?"
