Flat spot on back of conduit bends

Just a quick question, don't have much cause to get the bender out often, but have lately for my new workshop at home. Noticed that on the back of the bends I get a slight flat spot from the bend roller, not noticeable unless you are looking for it, but doesn't seem right but cant put my finger on whats wrong. Any ideas

Sorry, 20mm galv sorry, assumed it was a given talking about a bender as I do pvc over my knee!

I prefer using both a bender and a spring at the same time for pvc conduit. As Apache, has mentioned it might be the die flattening out, take it out and have a look at it.

To be honest, didn't take note... but seems from the mark that its skidding some of the time

IF the dies are worn you will get this issue.

It is difficult to tell the extent of the wear by eye.

Try applying a little lube to the roller pivot (try WD initially to free it up and then some spray grease which won't dry out)

You could also try a smear of vaseline on the mating sufaces when in use.

Also try to bend in one smooth action - it helps the material 'flow'.

I just like My bends to be uniform Steps, makes drawing in the cables alot easier in My experience.

I'm lazy I just by slip bends.
