I normally do houses.A job has come up a flat obviously one lighting circuit as only one floor. There is a landing drop to put in plus a downstairs drop by the door entrance. What is the correct way of switching these two drops.Im used to one way at bottom drop two way lighting landing drop is this the same for the flat I am doing? The other way I was thinking was two waying both landing and bottom staircase together switching both on at same time.Im just unsure about it I seemed to think the first option is more logical what are your thoughts?

I nearly always 2 way switch both hall AND landing lights. (How many times have you gone upstairs at night, and realised you have left the hall light on and have to go back down to turn it off?)

So I would do that here, have the bottom staircase and landing light, both switched separately, but both switched from upstairs and downstairs.
