hi, can anyone suggest a supplier or manufacturer for a concertina type overhead flex on a sliding rail? it's to power shears on a large cutting table and needs to allow the shears to be used at either end of the table. Busbar was suggested but could be cost prohibitive so i'm looking for an alternative. any help will be greatly appreciated. many thanks.

Gavin

A thin catenary wire, pigskin hangers with metal rings holding rubber flex looped so that it concertinas up as you pull it along and back , trailing Commando type socket on the end .

Good post from ProDave, I forgot about that stuff , we used to use it for hoists, one brandname was Flatform. The photo on ProDave's post is what I was thinking of. Deke
