Lol not exactly mate as its still got a loft ladder and not stairs. Its for the 16 year old kid who lives there to have his playstation/xbox up there. Gonna be cold up there tho lol. Cheers

Cheers nicky I've recently added a socket up in this loft but it's all since been decorated so no chance of pulling an earth from my socket. Thanks anyway for the thought but I'll stick a plastic fluorescent up there. Cheers

If the socket is on a ring why not just feed the light via a switched FCU
