Hi Folks,

Where do people prefer to obtain their I&T forms from? I have heard that some schemes (NICEIC for example) have slightly different aspects to other governing bodie's forms? - seems a bit daft if that is the case.

I know they are readily availaible from the IET website, but others bodies seem to charge for a pack or whatever. I would have thought the buck stops with BS7671 forms. "The ulimate form"

Just wondering what peoples prefs are...if any!

If you look at the IET forms they are very basic compared to the NICEIC and other bodies forms.

There is nothing from designing your own form.

Not to sure though if you have to put something to the effect that they are based on the IET forms etc.

The BS7671 forms are just model layouts giving the essential information that should be included on a certificate or inspection report. Additional details can be added if considered relevant, which is what some of the contractor bodies do. Many of the purchased forms also have traceable serial numbers, but you can make your own if you wish.

Go to the downloads section on this forum. I use the ones I think blue fox uploaded which are done on the computer using ms excel. They look good and include all info required. Hth
