Forum Shutdown Tonight

I'll be shutting the Forum down sometime tonight to upgrade the MySql database ....... no big deal ...take about an hour ..... not sure when yet .

thats the problem with using a sundial at this time of year,

not much sun,

Unfortunately the forum clock relies on the MySql database, so this may never happen as Deke gets reset every time he tries to access it.

Can I ask what the up and down arrows at the top of each post represent? Most have a 0 in between but some have a green number some a red? Is it scoob related?

should say they don't appear on every thread?

I don't want any insults tonight ......... they will be switching over control to my computer shortly  and I'd hate to hit the " Delete Member " key by mistake.

Admin3 will be in the engine room as we speak , powering down the Lithium Crystals to managable levels.

Its a new best answer thing - its only in the Q&A section i think - Members vote the best answer to the top and the worst to the bottom - only works if everyone does an answer - when it goes off topic and the voters move them u and down it will be kind of confusing

Deke, remember before you do your forum database upgrade work, please make sure you let the dog out up the garden and make a pot of tea first. We don't want you getting distracted part way through. You will only upset Admin3 if you are slow getting us back on-line.
